Dukes’s Grayson Allen Trips Another Opponent (Video)
Grayson Allen is either very good at hiding his intent when tripping opposing players or he’s a very, very clumsy guy. And I don’t think it’s the latter, because clumsy guys usually don’t excel enough to play college basketball for Duke. He’s got a reputation for some sketchy plays, and the events that preceded this play suggest this was retaliation of sorts.
Grayson poked the ball away, suggesting that Duke could run out the clock, but then a Louisville player bumped him up the court, which is when he “accidentally” tripped forward Ray Spalding.
Take a look:
You almost have to appreciate it. It’s very subtle. I wonder if he practices this against his teammates.
