Jose Aldo, Other UFC Fighters Rip Conor McGregor After UFC 196 Loss (Tweets)

UFC 196: McGregor v Diaz

Conor McGregor has been riding high atop the UFC hierarchy ever since he knocked out Jose Aldo just 13 seconds into their featherweight title fight at UFC 194 back in December.  But on Saturday, at UFC 196, he was knocked down a peg or two when Nate Diaz stepped up on short notice and submitted McGregor with a rear-naked choke in the second round of their main event.

Following the defeat, McGregor’s critics wasted little time taking to Twitter to call out the fallen champ.  And leading the way was the last fighter that Conor defeated, Jose Aldo:

The man who McGregor was supposed to fight at UFC 196, Rafael dos Anjos, also chimed in:

And then there was this from the UFC’s No. 1 and No. 2 ranked pound-for-pound fighters, Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson:
