Look at This Dandy Race Horse Wearing a Three-Piece Suit for Some Reason (Pic)
Tuesday marks the first day of the four-day Cheltenham Festival, one of the most famous horse racing events in the world. To celebrate the occasion, British bookmakers William Hill teamed up with former Alexander McQueen designer Emma Sandham-King to make a custom three-piece suit out of Scotland’s famous Harris Tweed. For a horse.
Seriously. They Bojack Horsemaned a real horse. His name is Morestead, which is obviously way classier than American horse names.
I’m sure PETA will be upset about this because the horse probably didn’t consent to wearing a suit. But honestly, he looks pretty damn good. If GQ had a special equine edition, this is what it would look like:
So who’s the lucky bastard who got to wear the same suit as a horse? That would be legendary British jockey Sir A.P. McCoy.
I assume he was generously compensated for this ridiculous stunt.
I also assume he got to keep the suit.
