Rugby’s among the most brutal sports in the world. That’s pretty much common knowledge. The guys either tape down or put vaseline on their ears so they don’t get ripped off. But I never knew that genitals were at similar risk during matches…until today.

An Aussie player, Haydn Peacock, was playing for a French club recently when he suffered an unspeakable trauma that left him requiring 11 stitches on his penis. But because this is rugby, the 23-year-old kept playing until halftime before getting treatment.

Perhaps most newsworthy is that the gender of Peacock’s penis is female, at least, according to this Instagram post:

Get well soon, Haydn Peacock’s penis!
