Sure we’ve only played a smattering of those early-week tournament games that force us to get our brackets done far earlier than is reasonable, but that’s not going to stop us from declaring an early NCAA Tournament MVP.

And our pick is this guy:

No, we don’t know his name. But he’s got a painted face and a tambourine, so he shouldn’t be too tough to pick out of a lineup.

Unfortunately, Tulsa, who many feel shouldn’t have been in the tourney to begin with, didn’t make it out of their play-in game against Michigan, but we can always hope that an NBA scout had his eyes on the young upstart, and we’ll maybe see him rocking NBA arenas come playoff time.
