Here’s Dwyane Wade Dancing with Vanilla Ice During a Performance of “Ice Ice Baby” (Video)
On Sunday, the Miami Heat held the 19th Annual Miami HEAT Family Festival, an interactive “music festival extravaganza for the whole family” featuring a food court and silent auction.
This year’s theme? They called it “90s Throwback Heat,” which means they “transformed” the area outside American Airlines Arena into an “everything 90s playground” and hired “a surprise musical guest from the 90s era” to entertain fans. (All the quotes are straight from the official press release, by the way.)
That surprise musical guest from the 90s era? None other than South Florida native Robert Matthew Van Winkle, better known as Vanilla Ice.
Now, I’m not going to bother looking around for Mr. Ice’s set list because that would be a waste of my time. But I assume he got the crowd jumping with such hits as “Rollin’ in My 5.0,” “Cool as Ice,” and “Ninja Rap,” saving his best jam, “Ice Ice Baby,” for the finale.
What I know for sure is that, when Vanilla did perform “Ice Ice Baby,” Dwyane Wade got so excited that he jumped up on stage and danced with him while his teammates laughed hysterically in the background.

The Heat used to have Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James. Now they have D-Wade, Bosh, and Vanilla Ice.
Soooo much better, amiright?
