Here’s Texas A&M’s Epic 12-Point Comeback, Condensed to Two Minutes (Video)
Texas A&M seemingly pulled off the impossible on Sunday night, closing a 12-point deficit against Northern Iowa in their game’s final 44 seconds, marking one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA tournament history after they ended up winning by four in double OT, 92-88.
Here it is before we get any further:
It’s unlikely that any description or account of the comeback would be more compelling than just watching the video of it, but in case that’s not true, here are some highlights:
- Danuel House scored 22 points in the matchup, but none before 5:14 in the second half
- The Aggies forced four (FOUR!) turnovers in the final 33 seconds
- They scored six field goals as well
Even by wacky NCAA tournament standards, this is one for the ages. Northern Iowa is probably still trying to wrap their head around their team’s meltdown.
