Watch Baylor’s 6’6″, 405-Pound Tight End Run an Impressive 40-Yard Dash (Video)
At 6-foot-6 and 405-pounds, Baylor tight end LaQuan McGowan is one big dude. Not only is he the biggest tight end you’ll ever see, but he also has a chance to be the heaviest player ever drafted into the NFL, should any team decide to take a chance on him during the upcoming NFL Draft in April.
NFLDraftScout.com rates McGowan as a “7th round-Free Agent” prospect, and he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, so his chances of actually getting drafted aren’t great. But his 40-yard dash could definitely help his cause.
McGowan officially clocked in at 5.41 and 5.55 during his two attempts at the 40-yard dash during Baylor’s Pro Day. Those numbers aren’t blazing by tight end standards, but they sure are fast for a 400-plus-pound dude.
Maybe offensive lineman would make a bit more sense.
