LAPD Investigate Threat Made Against Chris Paul’s Wife on Twitter

Chris Paul is no stranger to harassment on social media. Last year, he endured what he called an “Instagram troll” who kept posting annoying comments all over his family pics, but this time around the threat is a little more serious.

Apparently a Twitter user posted the following statement on the social media service:

@CP3 if I knew where you lived I’d probably kill your wife and frame you for it. I watch dateline I get away with it.

Gross. Fortunately, Paul turned this threat over to the authorities, and Clippers team security and the LAPD are taking the threat seriously.

The threat stems back to March 14th, but no arrest has been made as of yet. Hopefully, they’ll find the guy responsible, but often these types of threats are made from dummy accounts that can be hard to trace, especially if they lie outside the U.S.
