Here’s Petyon Manning Singing with Country Star Cole Swindell at His Children’s Hospital Gala (Video)
Every year, Peyton Manning holds a charity gala for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis. And every year at this charity gala he sings a tune with the musical act headlining the event.
Last year he sang the Johnny Cash classic “Folsom Prison Blues” with country star Jake Owen. This year it was David Allen Coe‘s “You Never Even Call Me by My Name” with country star Cole Swindell.
Swindell featured the performance on the latest episode of his YouTube series, appropriately titled Swindell Vision. And he sure did gush about Manning.
Take a look:
Of course, as you probably know a lot of people have been dumping on the newly-retired Manning recently, what with all the reports about how he might not be as swell a guy as he seems. You might think he wouldn’t feel like making public appearances or singing cheesy country ballads. But no. It’s business as usual for Peyton Manning. The guy built up a lot of good will over the years, and most people aren’t ready to jump off the Peyton Manning bandwagon.
Cole Swindell certainly hasn’t.
What about you?
