Jalen Rose Says Yao Ming ‘Absolutely, Positively’ Does Not Deserve To Be In The Hall Of Fame (Video)

Earlier this week, it was announced that former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming would be inducted into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Yao was drafted 1st overall in 2002, and was the league’s first Chinese star. NBA sales and television ratings flew through the roof in China during his 8-year career that was shortened due to injuries.

Former NBA player & current ESPN sports analyst Jalen Rose does not like this decision one bit and he let loose when asked about it on Thursday.

“He absolutely, positively does not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. It’s not even close. I do not like the fact that there’s an international committee that votes for international players and puts them in the same Hall of Fame as the American-born players, but they lower the bar based on their productivity. That’s not fair. I don’t like that.”
