Argentinian Rugby Player Banned for 99 Years after Vicious Kick to Opponent’s Head (Video)

A club rugby player in Argentina received what’s essentially a lifetime ban from the sport after coming close to taking an opponent’s head off with an intentional kick to his head.

It’s not clear what precipitated the event, but this goes far beyond the usual, “Whatever, they’re crazy rugby players” mentality.

Somehow, miraculously, the player on the receiving end of that kick was not seriously¬†injured, and was only treated for dizziness. Many might use that as grounds for leniency, but it was just dumb luck that the kick didn’t break the guy’s neck, so 99 years feels pretty appropriate when you see how savage this move was:
