Lawyer: ‘Will Smith’s Killer Not The Aggressor After Fender Bender’
The NFL community is still reeling from the shocking news over the weekend that former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith was gunned down after a minor traffic incident.
Not shocking whatsoever,The lawyer for Cardell Hayes says his client was not the aggressor in the altercation leading up to the shooting.
“Well, I don’t want to go into details what my client said, but I’ll say this,” defense attorney Jon Fuller told assembled media Sunday after being asked if his client feared for his life. “The reports that we’ve heard so far that were on television and various news outlets were not consistent with everything that happened, and I can tell you that my client was not the aggressor in terms of the behavior that happened after the accident.”
Attorney Jon Fuller went on to state all parties involved in this altercation need to have a toxicology report as he believes alcohol may have played a big role in this unfortunate incident.
“My client is of the opinion that toxicology should be conducted on all the parties that were involved in this, and that will shed some light on the behavior of some of the participants.”
