Rams Reportedly Waited To Announce Trade With Titans In Honor Of Kobe’s Last Game

Utah Jazz v Los Angeles Lakers

The power of the legend that is Kobe Bryant was evident on Wednesday, as the Mamba had an entire day dedicated to him, during which everyone shared their favorite memories of the now former NBA superstar.

Not only did Kobe Bryant completely shut down Twitter, but he shut down social media, period, by dropping 60 points in his final game ever in the NBA.

That wasn’t the only thing that happened on Wednesday, but one of those other things wasn’t announced until Thursday morning—the Los Angeles Rams reportedly waited until the next day to announce that they traded with the Titans for the #1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft so Kobe could get the respect he deserved.

Classy move by Jeff Fisher and the Rams.
