Super Agent Drew Rosenhaus Officially Drops Johnny Manziel After QB Spent the Weekend Partying at Coachella (Pics)
Last week NFL super agent Drew Rosenhaus announced that he would be dropping Johnny Manziel if the former Cleveland Browns quarterback didn’t check himself into rehab within five days.
What did Manziel do? He spent the weekend partying at Coachella, which is the least rehabby thing you could possibly do.
Now, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rosenhaus is done. For the first time in his 27-year career as an agent, Rosenhaus has cut a client.
For Manziel, this is the second agent he has lost in the last two months. His previous agent, Erik Burkhardt, cut ties with Johnny Football back in February, citing a so-called “lack of accountability.” Now Manziel has to find a new agent willing to put up with his bullshit. And that’s not going to be easy seeing as how his chances of getting a job—and thus of an agent getting paid—are nil while a Dallas grand jury is still deliberating on whether or not to charge Manziel with domestic battery.
But hey, Johnny, you keep partying, man. Surround yourself with people who tell you what you want to hear. I’m sure it will all work out.
