Josh Norman Says He Doesn’t Care About The Matchup With Odell Beckham (Video)
As soon as former Carolina Panthers CB Josh Norman signed with the Washington Redskins, social media exploded over the idea that fans will get to see the Norman & Odell Beckham Jr. matchup twice a year. After all, the last matchup produced a bunch of controversy, from pregame bat threats to antics during the game.
One person who couldn’t care less about the matchup is Josh Norman and he spoke about it during an interview with ESPN Radio:
“To be honest with you, I don’t even care too much about that matchup,” Norman told ESPN Radio. “I care about bettering myself as a group, as a team, as a group of men who can do something special here and try and elevate my game to try and be in the conversation of all the old-time guys. The great cornerbacks who played the game.”
“Yeah we’re going to a little game where we play each other twice a year and Dez and all them other guys,” said Norman. “They’ve got some good receivers in this division, but at the end of the day, I’m going to be myself.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen right now, but we’ll see when it comes to that day.”
