Derek Jeter Trolls “Soft” Red Sox Fans on ‘Late Night’ (Video)
Derek Jeter took to Seth Meyers’ talk show Late Night last night to show off his cardigan-shirt combo in Yankees colors, and, of course, he just had to talk a little smack about Red Sox fans when given a stage.
Jeter, the face of the Yankees for the past 20 years or so, tried to fan the flames of the Boston-NYC rivalry by saying that Red Sox fans had become “soft” in recent years.
I guess that’s an easy thing to say when their team has been losing after a run that included two World Series championships. But it still has to sting, right?

Not exactly riot-inciting stuff, but when Jeter is where he is, talking smack is probably his biggest weapon, and he’s using it.
