The ‘Gunshots’ Toronto Police Responded To Were Just Excited Raptors Fans (Tweet)

Points to the Toronto Police for their enthusiasm, but we’d still question the individuals who called in the complaint of 5-6 gunshots, which were actually just excited Raptors fans outside gearing up for overtime of Game 1 vs. the Heat last night.

Can sports fans really sound like gunshots? I guess to one tipster they did:

Unfortunately, all the gunshots and banging in the world wasn’t enough to save the Raptors from the streaking Heat.  But on the plus side, no one got shot, which is always a good outcome for a sporting event.

Hopefully Raptors fans will be a little quieter once the series finds its way back to Miami.
