Texas A&M Losing Recruits After Assistant Coach Goes On Twitter Rant

Not the ideal way you want to WOO recruits into the program at Texas A&M. Five-star quarterback Tate Martell took to Twitter on Wednesday to let the world know he was reopening his recruiting options after verbally committing to Texas A&M.

 

Literally, six minutes after his tweet, Aggies assistant coach Aaron Moorehead subtweeted him about loyalty and trust.  

He didn’t start there.  

After his ranting, a couple of other recruits decommitted afterwards.  

Tyjon A. Lindsey: “I would like to say thank you to TAMU & fans but due to some tweets subtweeted towards my brother, I will no longer be looking at A&M.”

On Thursday, after realizing what he had done, Moorehead apologized via Twitter:
