DeMar DeRozan Kicks the Ball at Goran Dragic’s Face, Gets Ball Right Back (Video)
This second round series between the Raptors and Heat has been a total paradox. The quality of play has been pitiful, and yet nobody can look away because it’s the most exciting matchup we’ve seen this postseason. Three of the first four games have gone to OT, and the other one was decided by just four points.
It’s kind of hard to pick just one play to sum up this series. But if you had to, this one from Game 4 on Monday night would be a pretty good choice. Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan takes advantage of a pick at the top of the key to drive down the right side of the lane. But of course, as he is dribbling, the ball bounces off his foot and takes off like a rocket, hitting Heat guard Goran Dragic square in the face. Then it bounces right back to DeRozan, who just goes on like nothing happened.
Take a look:
You have to feel bad for Goran Dragic. Dude’s face has taken a beating this year. He had a tooth knocked out in December. Then he had another tooth knocked out in December. And earlier this week this happened:
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see the Raptors win Game 5 when a pass from Kyle Lowry to Bismack Biyombo bounced off Dragic’s face and into the basket.
