Russell Westbrook: ‘Steph Curry Is Not Nothing I Haven’t Seen’ (Video)
Tuesday morning, following the Oklahoma City Thunder’s shootaround, Russell Westbrook was asked how different it was to guard Warriors’ Stephen Curry as opposed to other guards in the league and his answer was quite surprising.
“He’s a shooter,” Westbrook said ahead of Monday’s night Western Conference finals opener against the Golden State Warriors. “He’s not nothing I haven’t seen. Him, [Damian] Lillard, guys like that, can shoot the basketball from four or five feet behind the 3, you’ve got to do a little different job. But just be physical.”
“Making shots,” Westbrook said. “He does a good job of making shots, creating shots for himself. He’s a tough-shot maker.”
