NCAA Basketball Tournament - First Round - VCU v Oregon State

I’m not sure what it is about former NBA players who played before social media was around, but they really have a dislike with the NBA today and especially the players that play in it.

Yes, we get it. Everybody that played in the 80′s and 90′s would average 47 PPG & 26 RPG in today’s NBA. BLAH BLAH BLAH. (GET OFF MY LAWN)

Former Seattle SuperSonics PG Gary Payton was a lockdown¬†defender back in his day, but he thinks we don’t remember how much he complained to the refs, which makes his statement about the Warriors’ Draymond Green that much more laughable.

On Thursday, he was a guest on Sirius XM NBA Radio and he praised Draymond for his intensity and defensive skills, but also took a shot at him by saying he cries to the refs too much.

“I like Draymond Green’s intensity… but every time I didn’t get a call I didn’t cry all the time.”
