Toronto Raptors v Cleveland Cavaliers - Game Five

The Toronto Raptors came into game 5 vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers rolling after tying the Eastern Conference Finals at 2-2.  And then they remembered they were the Raptors.

Game 5 was never in doubt from the time both of the squads exited the team bus. The Cavs rolled the Raptors, beating them by 38 points.

What happened? Were the Raptors tired? According to a report from TMZ, at least two of the Raptors players were spotted in a Cleveland Casino in the early morning hours just before Game 5.

“Two Toronto Raptors players were spotted at a Cleveland casino — AT 2 IN THE MORNING — hours before they took the court against the Cavs in a pivotal Game 5, this according to the Toronto Sun.

To make matters worse, DeMarre Carroll and Cory Joseph played like crap after the 8pm tipoff — with the two hitting a combined 3 or 12 shots for 8 points.”

Casino or no casino, there was absolutely nothing the Raptors could do to stop LeBron and the Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
