Report: Will Smith’s Blood Alcohol Level Over Legal Limit When He Was Shot
Last month, Former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith was shot eight times and killed after a traffic accident became violent.
On Tuesday, The Times-Picayune reported that Smith had a blood alcohol level of 0.24% at the time of his death, which is three times Louisiana’s legal limit of 0.08%.
The shooter, Cardell Hayes, was indicted on charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. Smith’s wife Racquel was shot twice in her legs during the incident, but survived the shooting.
