Johnny Manziel Got Served with a Lawsuit…While Out Clubbing (Video)
Johnny Manziel to Start Prepping for 2016 Season, According to His Lawyer
Johnny Manziel might be a bigger fixture on the club circuit than Paris Hilton was a decade ago, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten about the NFL. At least, not according to his attorney,
“His immediate plans are to start getting ready for football,” according to Manziel’s attorney, Jim Darnell. “We’re working on it.”
Not a great sign when your attorney is helping you get your athletic career back on track.
However, a source close to this madness said that Manziel thinks a 2017 return is a more likely and timely goal for the disgraced star. Either way, he’s got a lot of work to do. Assuming he can sober up and fly right, he has to convince teams of that fact, settle his outstanding lawsuit over the damaged house, and answer to charges surrounding misdemeanor assault in June.
Then he has to get even better at football than he was out of college. Tall order.
