Snoop Dogg First Pitch: Not as Bad as 50 Cent, Still Pretty Bad (Video)
On Wednesday, the San Diego Padres invited Snoop Dogg out to Petco park to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to their game against the Atlanta Braves.
Of course, Snoop Dogg is from Long Beach, so he’s not a natural born Padres fan. However, he did go to the same high school as Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn. So there is a small connection here.
How was the pitch? It wasn’t as bad as the infamous 50 Cent first pitch from a few years back—you know, the one so bad that it actually got its own baseball card. But Snoop was still pretty bad. See for yourself:
So yeah, this Snoop Dogg first pitch was not great. However, in fairness to the Doggfather, I feel like I should mention that he also threw out the first pitch at a White Sox game a few years back and fired a strike right down the middle. Then he Tebowed, because that was a thing people were doing at the time.
Hopefully Snoop regains his form the next time he throws out a first pitch.
