James Harden Is Your 2015-16 Shaqtin a Fool MVP (Video)
Every week on TNT’s Inside the NBA postgame show, Shaquille O’Neal hosts a little segment called Shatin a Fool which highlights strange, silly, or embarrassing plays. At the end of the year, they take the three players who made the most appearances on the weekly segment and let fans vote for a Shaqtin a Fool MVP. Then they announce the winner on a special half-hour edition of Shaqtin a Fool on NBA TV.
On Tuesday, the Big Aristotle announced the 2015-16 Shaqtin a Fool MVP, and it’s Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden.
If you followed the NBA this year, this will not come as a huge surprise. Harden’s lackadaisical efforts on defense have been the laughing stock of the league all year. Throw in the occasional blooper and turnover and you’ve got one hell of a Shaqtin a Fool mixtape.
Take a look:
Most of the players they interviewed at the end were like, yep, sounds about right. Then there was Harden’s teammate, Patrick Beverley. That guy had to sit there and be like, “aw naw man I don’t know what you’re talking about!” when he had a front row seat to that sh*tshow and knew exactly what they were talking about.
Way to sell it, Patrick.
