The New York Knicks are no longer content with being Eastern Conference bottom-feeders.

According to ESPN‘s sources, the Knicks have acquired former NBA MVP Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon, and Jerian Grant.  The Knicks will also receive Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round pick as part of the deal.

The moves gives the Knicks their own “Big Three” with Rose, Carmelo Anthony, and Kristaps Porzingis.  Of course, this is assuming Rose can stay healthy, which seems unlikely, given the fact that he’s missed 162 games over the last four seasons as a result of an assortment of injuries.
