Former NBA and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West has had a rough time since exiting the league. He’s been photo’d shoeless outside of a Jack-in-the-Box in Houston, video’d randomly dancing and yelling at kids, and now on Sunday, someone snapped a pic of him apparently homeless and begging for money in Maryland.

Delonte cleared up those rumors when he spoke with MTONews and stated he was actually helping homeless people.

“I was helping a homeless man in my neighborhood that’s paralyzed from neck down. I parked my car and got out to help because it was 90 degree weather and i was feeling blessed at the moment for just having legs.”

Hopefully Delonte is still receiving the help that he needs, but this is one rumor that can be put to rest.
