C.J. Spillman

Former Dallas Cowboys special teams player C.J. Spillman was tried on sexual assault charges stemming from a 2014 incident at the team hotel. It took jurors less than two hours to find him guilty of sexual assault and on Friday he was handed down his punishment.

“Ex-Dallas Cowboys cornerback C.J. Spillman was just sentenced to 5 years in prison after he was convicted of sexual assault.

The 30-year-old was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Texas resort back in 2014. He admitted to the sex, but claimed it was consensual.”

It didn’t help that Spillman testified that the woman accusing him of rape acted like a “sports groupie” during the incident.
