San Francisco 49ers v St Louis Rams

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock in the last 24 hours, you’ve seen the 1 or both of the videos of Baton Rouge police shooting Alton Sterling at point blank range while he was being pinned down by two officers.

Not here to say whether who was wrong or if anything was justified, but there is one athlete that’s willing to go there.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took to Instagram to voice his opinion on the recent shooting in Baton Rouge.

“This is what lynchings look like in 2016! Another murder in the streets because the color of a man’s skin, at the hands of the people who they say will protect us. When will they be held accountable? or did he fear for his life as he executed this man?”
