Dana White: ‘Rousey Gets Title Shot When She Returns’ (Video)
There is absolutely no favoritism in the UFC. None. Nope. Not even a little bit. (Obvious sarcasm is obvious)
The sports world hasn’t seen Ronda Rousey since she got knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November losing the women’s bantamweight title in the process. Since then, Holm’s was choked out by Miesha Tate for the title and this past Saturday, Amanda Nunes choked Tate into submission.
Dana White made it clear on Wednesday, when Rousey comes back, she gets a title shot immediately.
“Ronda’s going to make that decision,” White said, according to Damon Martin of FOX Sports. “I would like to see her fight this year, but it could be early next year, too.
“Whoever the champion is at the time is who Ronda will fight.”
“If Ronda comes back, Ronda will get the shot. We’ll see what happens with Holly Holm in her next fight, she’s fighting on FOX. It’s all good stuff,” White said.
