Jon Jones Breaks His Twitter Silence About Doping Violation & Takes Subtle Shot At Brock Lesnar
Few weeks ago, Jon Jones was pulled from the main event of the highly-anticipated UFC 200 event due to a doping violation. According to reports, Jones tested positive in an out-of-competition test taken by the USADA on June 16 and not only screwed himself, but screwed his opponent Daniel Cormier out of $500K.
So what does Jon Jones do after his most recent screw-up? Take a subtle shot at Brock Lesnar on Twitter, who also was flagged for doping by the USADA.
Throwing shots at another fighter won’t help his situation at all. He continued to answer fans on Twitter:
Don’t write me off just yet, I know in my heart that I’m not a cheater. I trust in the system to help me prove it https://t.co/aE2vP9BlVp
