Former PG Delonte West Is Attempting An NBA Comeback
It’s been a rough couple of years for former NBA player Delonte West as he has struggled with mental illness which has caused him to act out numerous times while in public. He’s been photo’d shoeless outside of a Jack-in-the-Box in Houston, caught on video randomly dancing and yelling at kids, and given the wrong medication by a facility that’s supposed to be taking care of him.
Just recently, Delonte had his house foreclosed and sold at an auction which is why his next move to make an NBA comeback is making a lot of sense.
“He is working toward coming back to the NBA. He has been working out and that’s where he’s at as of now.”
As for the photos of West apparently panhandling, Addison says the pics didn’t tell the whole story.
“People did see him holding a sign but what they don’t know was there was a homeless guy standing out across from my place and Delonte saw him and wanted to help him out.”
“Delonte is not homeless. He’s living with his wife and kids,” Addison told us.
If West’s mental health is not in order, I don’t expect too many teams to come calling for his services.
