Can you say SHOTS FIRED?

After former Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham had an epic back and forth on the field last December, where both traded blows at the other resulting in fines and suspensions, it was quiet in the offseason when Norman signed with the Washington Redskins.

That was until OBJ threw the 1st shots, stating Norman is only relevant because of him while doing an interview for the August 2016 edition of GQ.

“It goes back to what I was saying,” Beckham said. “If I wasn’t playing him twice a year, maybe people wouldn’t bring it up as much. But now it’ll be a lot more media attention for him, attention that I don’t really look for, attention that I don’t need. The reason he’s become so relevant is because of me.”

In return, Norman said OBJ better have their Sept. 25th matchup marked on his calendar.

Norman wasn’t finished, throwing jabs at OBJ on Thursday at the Roc Nation charity basketball game at the Barclays Center:

He’s relevant because of a catch,” Norman said. “But we’re not gonna go there. I’m not into the war of words.”

“Sept. 25 we’re gonna put that to the test,” he said, referencing the Giants’ Week 3 game against Washington in New Jersey. “We’re gonna see what that look like.”
