Report: Steelers’ RB Le’Veon Bell Skipped Multiple Drug Tests, Then Lied About It
On Friday, it was reported that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell was facing a 4-game suspension for a skipped drug test, which equals a failed drug test in the NFL. It was about a month ago when a radio host broke the news that Bell skipped out on a drug test, but no major outlets reported it.
I’m told Lev Bell skipped a drug test& is facing susp. Right now, it’s a rumor. But it’s a pretty strong rumor.

Bell had this to say back in June:
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” – Bell when asked about the rumors
“I am fine,” he said (via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review). “I can’t keep talking about the drug test. I probably already said too much about it, so I really can’t keep talking about it. People are going to say what they want to say on the Internet. It is people who really have nothing to do. I don’t get upset or let it bother me.”
Clearly, Bell lied back then. According to what Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network, Bell has missed “several” drug tests. Bell is currently appealing the suspension, but if what is being reported is true, it is highly unlikely this will be overturned.
Bell was suspended for three games to start the 2015 season, but it was later reduced to two games by the NFL.
