Captain Obvious Shows Up at Nats Game, Shares Some Obvious Info (Video)
Normally, dressing up as a fictional pitchman at a ballpark would raise a few eyebrows because not only is it lame, but it would likely be the work of some millennial marketing team, in this case working for hotels.com.
But we’re able to get over both those reservations just because this dude, sitting by himself of course, at a Nationals game, is just so funny.
Take a look at the video of Captain Obvious, doing what he does best:
Say what you will about the man, but he’s rarely wrong. That’s the upside of being so damn obvious.
I wish we had a five-minute documentary about how this guy decided to go this route and his prep for the game. I mean, did he grow out the beard? Did he get the costume made? Why Captain Obvious? Was he a plant from hotels.com?
This is way more interesting than the game itself—which the Padres won, 10-6.
