On Saturday, it was reported that Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins left training camp and is seeking a new contract, according to ESPN’s Tania Ganguli.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Hopkins didn’t leave.  He never reported to camp in the first place and is now subject to fines for each missed day.

Hopkins is likely looking for a new contract that will get him around $14 million a year and $35-$40 million guaranteed.
