On Sunday, during the very first day of Dallas Cowboys training camp, social media was set on fire when a photo surfaced of quarterback Tony Romo looking like he ate all the weight Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy lost during the offseason. It was quickly dismissed as a bad angle shot, but social media didn’t care, and jokes and memes came from every corner you could imagine.

There’s one person who has an explantion for Romo’s weight gain and it has nothing to do with his eating habits.
“It certainly appears as if Romo is overweight. He is not. It was some poor camera work on my part,” admitted Dallas Morning News photographer Jon Machota.

“Romo is the same size he was during organized team activities and minicamp,” Machota continued. “But this post is too late. The internet already believes Romo has a weight problem.

“Sorry, Tony.”
