Brandon Marshall Says Revis Slapped Him & Said Not to Disrespect Him Again (Video)
You smell that? Smells just like football is back.
On Friday during New York Jets practice, wide receiver Brandon Marshall & cornerback Darrelle Revis got into a scuffle where slaps, punches, & low blows were thrown.
“Marshall approached Revis while Revis was on the field and Marshall was on the sideline. After the two traded verbal pleasantries, Marshall threw a punch at Revis.
A teammate, per Cimini, literally picked Marshall up and carried him away after the incident, which came after the two players had been jawing at each other throughout practice.
“After the brief scuffle, Marshall yelled a DeAndre Hopkins comment at Revis, reminding the corner of his struggles last season against the Houston receiver — a low blow,” Cimini said.
After practice was over, Marshall was asked what happened between him & Revis. He claimed that after he beat Revis on a play, he gave the first down signal which prompted Revis to slap him.
