Sounds like Tim Tebow‘s football career is all but finished, and his baseball career is just about to begin.

According to Tebow’s agents, the former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback will hold workouts for Major League Baseball teams as he pursues a career in professional baseball.

The workouts are expected to take place later this month, after Tebow spent the past year training as a batter and outfielder in Arizona and Los Angeles.  The 28-year-old hasn’t played baseball since high school, when he earned all-state honors as a member of Nease High School in Florida.

Of course, Tebow’s chances of translating these workouts into a Major League career are probably quite slim, but he’s never been one to shy away from a challenge.
