Ryan Lochte Apologizes, Sort of, For Lying About Robbery in Rio

U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte and friends started up an international incident when they decided to lie about being robbed at gunpoint during the Rio Olympics. Since video and pictures were obtained stating otherwise, Lochte has changed his story once again after telling quite a few lies.

The four swimmers tried to cover up a drunken altercation with security at a gas station by claiming they’d been robbed at gunpoint. Two of his teammates admitted to the lie when authorities in Rio snatched them off a plane and pressed them about the issue. The face of the lying four, Ryan Lochte, had already returned to the United States.

On Friday, Lochte took to social media to somewhat apologize for his actions, but basically blamed it on being in another country with language barriers.
