Former Patriots C Bryan Stork Considering Retirement After Being Traded to Redskins

by: Black Adam Schefter On  Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Divisional Playoffs - Baltimore Ravens v New England Patriots

On Wednesday, it was initially reported that the New England Patriots had released former starting center Bryan Stork. According to sources, Stork has had many outbursts during training camp and the front office finally got fed up.

Just a few hours later, ESPN’s Adam Schefter refuted that story and announced the Patriots were trading Stork to the Washington Redskins instead for a conditional 7th round pick.

About 30 mins after Schefter broke that news, former Redskins tight end Chris Cooley took to Twitter and stated Stork was mulling retirement.

That was followed by several other reports indicating that Stork is, indeed, considering retirement, though he has yet to make any formal announcements.
