Iowa HS QB Takes a Brutal Hit as He Crosses the Plane For a TD (Video)

If your kid plays high school or JV football, you might want to avert your gaze for a minute.

Jaden Snyder of West Lyon HS in Iowa turned the corner for a bootleg near the goal line and got pummeled by one, maybe one and a half defenders the moment he broke the plane of the goal line for 6. Fortunately, he was in, the TD counted, he wasn’t (apparently) concussed, and the ref even threw a flag for what I assume was helmet to helmet contact.

It was a great play, but also a scary reminder of how violent things can get even at the lower levels of football.

The video said he went “beast mode,” but all I really see is a guy getting his bell rung. If that’s beast mode, then color me Marshawn Lynch, because I could be a real tackling dummy out there.
