Preseason football is about as boring as it gets most of the time. Starters don’t play, teams don’t care about games, and really, the only interesting thing that happens is that players get injured, which isn’t good at all.
But sometimes we’re reminded that there’s a whole tier of players who are fighting for their careers with every precious touch of the football. On Wednesday, the Redskins RB Mack Brown may have earned a few more touches after showing up the Bucs defense with this 60-yard run in the middle of a heavy rainstorm:

With starter Matt Jones struggling with a shoulder injury, Mack Brown may have bought himself a very big opportunity with this run.
