Tim Tebow Is a Rapping Country Music Star in the Nissan’s Latest “Heisman House” Commercial (Video)
The 2016 college football season is finally upon us. So you know what that means: time for another round of “Heisman House” commercials from Nissan.
As usual, the commercials feature a bevy of former Heisman winners, including 2015’s Derrick Henry, 2014’s Marcus Mariota, 2009’s Mark Ingram, 2004’s Matt Leinart, 1987’s Tim Brown, and 1984’s Doug Flutie. However, the undeniable star of the new ads is one Timothy Richard Tebow, the former Florida Gators quarterback who took home the most iconic statue in sports back in 2007. In one commercial Tebow is doing a one-handed bench press with the Florida Gators mascot as his spotter. In another he’s a rapping country music singer.
That’s right. Rapping. Country. Singer.
Confused? Well don’t worry. There’s a perfectly good explanation. Take a look:
Obviously it would have been funnier if Tebow was dreaming about trying to become a professional baseball player, but I guess Nissan didn’t want to be edgy.
