These College Football Helmets with Rival Colors Just Feel So Wrong (Pics)
Western Kentucky Players Trip and Fall All Over Each Other During Dramatic Field Entrance (Videos)
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are pretty excited about the 2016 college football season. They only became a NCAA Division I FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) program in 2008. But in 2015, just their second season in Conference USA, they went a perfect 8-0 in conference play. Then they beat Southern Miss in the C-USA championship game and South Florida in the Miami Beach Bowl for a final record of 12-2.
This year they are once again the favorites to win C-USA. And with perennial National Championship favorites Alabama on the schedule, they no doubt have dreams of taking a giant leap forward and establishing themselves as a big-time college football program.
Unfortunately for the Hilltoppers, their season got off to a pretty inauspicious start on Thursday night. Sure, they pounded conference rivals Rice 44-14 in their season-opener. But nobody’s talking about that today. Instead, everybody’s talking about how WKU completely botched their dramatic field entrance.
You see, the team was supposed to come running out of an inflatable tunnel, through some fog, and onto the field. But somebody tripped, initiating a chain reaction that ended in an epic multi-player pileup.
Take a look:
This entrance was…not ideal. https://t.co/GTqIZ8B2Xn

Let’s hope they get all the kinks worked out for the next home game.
