Sideline Worker at UT-Notre Dame Game Takes an Errant Pass to the Head (Video)

With all that needs to go on during a football broadcast and game operations, it’s easy to lose track of the fact that there are many, many hazards at your doorstep if you’re standing near the sideline of a game.

Well, those on the sidelines of the Notre Dame-Texas game were reminded of that fact on Sunday after an errant pass clocked a sideline worker right in the face. He appeared to have been distracted using some sort of camera, but it did little to shield his face from the hard throw, which zipped out of bounds, knocking the man over and causing him to drop whatever it was he was holding.
