Restaurant Manager Says Ex-49ers FB Bruce Miller Was in a Fight Over a Sandwich Before He Assaulted 70-Year-Old Man
The San Francisco 49ers had another controversy on their hands when Fullback Bruce Miller was arrested at a hotel early Monday morning for assaulting two people, because there were no open rooms the previous night. One of those people just so happened to be 70-years-old.

A new report states just hours before that altercation and his arrest, a San Francisco restaurant manager says he had to kick Bruce Miller out of his establishment because he got into a fight over a sandwich.
“Around midnight Monday, three hours before his arrest, Miller wandered into the colorful building that houses Tommy’s Joynt at 1101 Geary Blvd. and took a seat at a table near the front, restaurant manager Eddie Martin said.
Miller stared at the buffet line for about 20 minutes, then approached the queue and started arguing with guests over a sandwich, Martin said. No one was hurt, and staff quickly escorted Miller out.
“I believe he wanted their sandwiches,” said Martin, who guessed Miller wanted their popular brisket sandwich. “The guests were great. They were very calm and amused by the situation.””
Miller was released by the team later on Monday.
