On Sunday, Miami Dolphins running back Arian Foster and teammates Jelani Jenkins, Michael Thomas and Kenny Stills all took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem.

 

After the game, the former Houston Texans running back went into detail about why he did it and compared kneeling to the flag to people kneeling before their god every Sunday at church.

 

Dolphins owner Steve Ross had this to say about the players who protested:
